“Speech of Milo: Nouns” developed by Newgenapps for Doonan Speech Therapy has been announced as the Kid-friendly app of the week by Daily newspaper ‘Orange County Register’ in California.
It is a proud moment for the Newgenapps team as our efforts are being recognized across the globe.
“Speech of Milo: Nouns” is a revolutionary app developed as part of the “Speech with Milo” app series to improve language skills using pictures, audio and videos. This application aims to increase vocabulary skills of small kids who are in the process of learning language.
A unique feature of the app which sets it apart from other educational apps is the use of the iPad camera which acts as a substitute for a mirror. It helps kids to practice the word while watching him/herself and enables the therapist to record a video of the child speaking/enacting the word. This video can be shared in a secure manner with a parent, teacher, or other service provider.
We see this as yet another milestone on our journey towards success.
